I'll dominate 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
